i just bought a bamboo plant that is shaped like a heart it still has the strings on it to help keep its shape i was wondering how long i need to wait before i can take the string off

I have one that is a spriral shape..no string on it but i think if yours is growing in the shape keep the strings on for a few weeks.that should be enough
