Bamboo plants not growing, not sure what is the problem?

I have a pretty good green thumb however my bamboo plant doesn't seem to be growing much at all. It has plenty of water and room for the roots to grow. I have some stones in the vase. Here's the link with the vase I have my plant in along with the link for the stones.

Bamboo plants not growing, not sure what is the problem?
it takes a long time for those to grow. they are kind of picky. i started with one pot that had 3 plants in it , i got it in 2004 . after about a year i got leaves, then i broke off the base of the leaf and began a new plant, until all the leaves had been taken off . some of them died the old ones so i trashed them but the babies grew into new bamboos, i found the best way to keep them is in a fish tank. stick the bottom in the rocks of the tank and cover the bottom with about 2 inches of rock , it gets all the food it needs from the water and algae and fish drbris it is soooo green and has sprouted its own babies from the roots . i find new little bamboos all the time . i have never seen it so healthy. but dont take it out of the tank once you put it in because it will go crazy turn yellow and dry up and die. but they love fish tnks. and i even bought a bamboo shrimp to go with it , and they are very happy
Reply:i thinks the room temperature is too cold
