Bamboo trees?

where do you find black bamboo trees in or around huntington beach?

Bamboo. When you say "tree" I suppose it means you want large culmed, tall bamboos such as Phyllostachys bambusoides (Japanese timber bamboo) or bambusa oldhamii, both of which grow huge. The Black Bamboo (phyllostachys nigra) that you ask about doesn't grow quite as large but it sure is beautiful! There's plenty of nurseries in you area but I went through bamboo headquarters, near San Diego. They're online and they'll ship.
