Bamboo tablet write to text for windows xp and, Windows Vista question?

I recently bought a Bamboo tablet from Best Buy and I love it! It's really fun to use but I can't use wrtie to text like you can on Windows Vista...Are there any programs that will allow you to convert writing to text (on Windows XP?!) I would like something free but am willing to pay for it. (The reason I haven't bought Vista is because from what I've heard they still have to work out the kinks.) and if you have vista would you recomend it?

i decided to buy bamboo-fun for my windows xp yesterday after asking question on answers. but reading your question made me worried. as most of my work will include write to text. this made me do a little research. this is what i found.





there is a software that does that for vista, xp and other previous windows. it offers 30 days free trial, after that you will have to buy it.

ps: i too dont like vista or recommend it. xp is better.
