Bamboo plant growing conditions?
Depends on the variety of bamboo. I have several types and each has done better for me after being planting in rich organic soil. They are on a covered patio, get filtered sun and are in large containers.
Reply:I received on as a gift several years ago. I keep it in a glass jar with marbles to hold the bamboo in place and just replace the water on a regular basis. It has gone from a small shoot to about three feet tall!
