Care of bamboo plants?

I have one of those small bamboo plants for the house (just 3 stalks) and I was told that it just needs to be kept watered. I never let its pot run dry but the plant seems to be drying out. Is there something I am missing? I checked for info on the net but all I can find is info on big bamboo plants for the garden.

Care of bamboo plants?
I have lots of bamboo plants. Some I have in my beta fish bowls. They are doing the best but all my other ones are doing well too. I add fresh water to their pots or glass bowls once a week but I make sure they always have lots water in them. I wash the dust off their leaves at that time too. when I think about it I put a small amout of miracle gro in the water also but not in the ones that my fish are in.lol The tallest bamboo plant that I have is actually in a well lit room. Good luck
Reply:Hmm that's all I do for mine and it seems to be growing just fine at the moment. You could try adding a small amount of baby bio for houseplants into the water once a week for nutrients.
Reply:The plant should be full of water all the time. If it is in a pot fill the pot up to the rim and check on it everyday. I have one and I was having the same problem, once I began to water it more it flourished. I hope that this helps you.
Reply:There are two ways to grow them indoors.

1. Put in fishbowl with marbles on bottom and fill with water

2. Plant it in soil and keep the soil moist
