Is bamboo termite resistant?

Iam planning to use bamboo as fences for my garden, so i wud like to know is bamboo is termite free.

Is bamboo termite resistant?
Bamboo is not a wood and contains cellulose fibers which doesn't absorb moisture. The soft, non-structural, inner portions of the bamboo culms might attract termites or other insects but the outer/harder portions will remain intact.

Many floor manufacturers, that market bamboo-based flooring, state that bamboo is 99% termite safe due to the fact that it doesn't rot because it's moisture resistant. Bamboo doesn't harbor the conditions for termites (as well as other wood eating insects ) to thrive.

Hope this answered your question.
Reply:no wood is resistant to termite if you have a termite problem you need to take care of it
Reply:It is not wood it is a grass so it may be.
