Sims 2 castaway bamboo ds HELPPP?

On the sims 2 castaway game for DS I need bamboo so I can finish helping the chef man with his spit roast fire. But, whenever I try to trade with the veggie lady theres no options for any bamboo seeds. And she doesn't need to be offered any help. How will I get this bamboo?

are you sure Mrs Weeder doesnt have the seeds? Double check! If she doesnt then you will have to use your shovel to dig around and find some. By digging you can also find rare seeds like oranges etc.





EDIT- Yeah, I just checked and you can get bamboo seeds from Mrs Weeder, you shouldn't have to dig for them. btw you have to be able to trade with her to be able to get them so make sure you have done everything she wants help with.





EDIT- Also, as the game goes along and you get more stuff, Mrs Weeder will expand her variety of seeds, eventually ending up with about 3 pages of diff seeds. Maybe you just need to wait a while until she gets the seeds

Reply:you will have to trade Mrs. Weeder to get the seeds! If you cant trade with her yet then you have to finish all of her tasks before you can get the seeds. After you do all of her tasks then you will be able to trade her a palm leaf and something else (i dont remember i think it was a shell or something that you get when diving in the ocean lol) for the bamboo seeds. Plant them, water them, and then chop them down once they've grown and VWALA! u have bamboo! GOOD LUCK ;)
