I cut some bamboo. I want to use it for landscaping (cutting it into small pieces and using it as little walls to terrace some beds). But, it must be dead first (I do not want to start a bamboo grove in my backyard). So, two questions really. How do I ensure that it won't start growing after I start using it in my planning beds?
I cut some live bamboo, now I want to use it for landscaping. How do I ensure the bamboo is dead?
Dry them under the sun and after drying scratch the stem and if the stem is brown in colour it mean it's dead if it's still green you have to dry it again one more time.
Reply:You need to let it completely dry out.
Reply:kill it... =) lol j/k, i dont know...would be kinda cool if it kept growing...
